Nah, you don't get it. The teachers only show up when MC wants to kill the bad guys, when he's being harassed everyone's busy/deaf. His mentor is not just useless, it's even acting against him (stealing money, not teaching him anything, giving him half assed info that actually hinders his cultivation). The bs continues, he can't kill that guy cause they have her as a hostage, but what stops him from doing the same thing to exchange them? Non-existent logic and reason I guess

That's why its BS. no logic and reason. too many of these donghuas all have the same storylines with the same basic reasonings.

Check out other websites, there are way better subs out there. Don't know if it's allowed to share them here, but myanime does nice subs, even some donghuas on this site use their subs.
